Text: Taking a photograph

Jimmy takes his camera out of its leather case.
He opens the camera to put a new film in.
He puts the new film in and adjusts it carefully.
He closes the camera, so that no light can get in.
He sets the stop; that is, he adjusts the opening of the lens .if it is sunny, the opening must be larger.
He sets the distance, then the speed: 1/25 th, 1/50 th, 1/100 th of a second, for instance. With fast –moving subjects the exposure must of course be very short.
He looks at the subject through the viewfinder and takes the photograph.
He turns the winder so that the camera is ready for the next shot.
