Narrative Text.
At the doctors
One cold night a woman went to a doctor’s house and asked him to see her child who was ill. The doctor put on his clothes and followed her. When they got into the woman’s house, the doctor began examining the child, so he took his temperature and looked into his eyes and mouth. Then he knew that the child was suffering from hunger because he hasn’t had any food since he was born. The family was very poor. So the doctor didn’t write a prescription but he gave the woman some money.
1-section one:
Reading comprehension. A) Read the text then answer the questions:

These hotels don’t allow dogs.

Exercise n°8: Put the verbs in the following sentences into the simple past.

I meet her on Tuesdays.
He always wears black.
I make the cakes.
She gets up at 6:00.

Exercise n°9: Put the verbs in brackets into the past continuous tense.
